   GenerPro's Heritage

Our roots can be traced back to the year 1883
with birth of ASEA following  the development
of its first  3-phase Generator by the genius
inventor, Jonas Wenström


Our History

In 2000 GenerPro emerged as an independent
contract manufacturer of large electrical machines.

GenerPro acquired the entire generator manufacturing
facilities of the former ASEA in Västerås from Alstom. 
Alstom in turn had acquired these from ABB.
Boretech (listed on "First North" in Sweden) 
is the owner since 2010
